Who is this King of Glory?

Just wrote this. I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep before a track of ATC (awakening teen camp) and some of these words came to mind while thinking about my campers I've yet to meet.
--I'm not really sure what medium to classify it as though... just not poetry. but here it is:

Who is this King of Glory?

He is Kind. He is Gentle.
He is Lowly. He is Servant.
He is Near. He is Comfort.
He is Compassion. He is Man.

He is Great. He is Power.
He is Strength. He is Might.
He is Awesome. He is Majesty.
He is Holy. He is God.

He is Priest. He is Friend.
He is Just. He is Mercy.
He is Light. He is Hope.
He is Peace. He is Rest.

He is Lion. He is Lamb.
He is Still. He is Eternity.
He is Glory. He is Beauty.
He is Righteous. He is Worthy.

He is Jealous. He is Bridegroom.
He is Sovereign. He is King.
He is Advocate. He is Judge.
He is Jesus. He is Coming...

Resurrection rap

Resurrection rap
by: D-Train

So even though Jesus died so that we could survive,
Yo listen up, I got good news: He’s alive!
And He’s the Bridegroom, Judge, and the King
O death where are yo victory and yo sting?                                          (1 Cor. 15:55)

So I leave behind the things this world counts as high-priced           (Philippians 3:7-11)
Cause I be loosin’ my life that I may gain Christ
To know Him who gave His life and took it up again
Jesus and the power of His resurrection

The fellowship of His pain and His death as He bled
If I may get the resurrection from the dead
So had Christ risen, He’d be no better than religion
Cause if He didn’t rise, then I’m still dead in my sin                         (1 Cor. 15:12-17)

For if we’re united in His death and the grave that He knew
Then we’ll be in the likeness of His resurrection too
When our old man died and Christ rose with a roar
He broke the chains; sin ain’t got dominion no more                        (Romans 6:5-8)

Blessed be God who saved us from the slippery slope
And when His Son rose, we got a livin’ hope                                    (1 Peter 1:3)
Jesus said, “believe in Me and you’ll live as my wife
Cause I AM the resurrection and the life”                                          (John 11:25)

So give your life to the One who makes all things new
And that same spirit’s inside of you
That’s what the resurrection power is all about
But now I’m out of time so yo, peace out

Revised Spiritual Violence rap (Matt. 11:12)

Ever since that serpent started spoutin’ lies just so he could live and thrive
We can’t be children in a battle cause we won’t survive
We gotta do what’s so foreign to the 21st century:
Die to our flesh and take up spiritual authority
So in holiness we stand, as lamps burning, shinning bright
And in righteousness we live, wrestlin’ for all that is right
And as tough as it is, in darkness we gotta shine the light
Cause the devil ain’t goin’ down without a fight
And as forerunners we have a mighty weapon
It’s called gettin’ on our knees and makin’ intercession
Together we cry out to the great I AM
And in one voice we’re a corporate battering ram
We the violent don’t rest, give the demons no peace
We keep on runnin’ while we pray and don’t cease
Puttin’ on the armor of God, we’re makin’ war on sin
We be shutin’ doors that no man can open

CHORUS:

From the days of John the Baptist until now
The Kingdom suffers violence and this is how:
Take the sword of the Spirit into battle and cry
We be makin’ intercession ‘til He splits the sky

Being filled with Holy Spirit even from birth
John was one of the happiest men walkin’ the earth
After much prayer and fasting one can assume
The only title he wanted was "Friend of the Bridegroom"
While sent to bear witness to the light within
He ate all the locusts and wore camel skin
So different from all others livin’ in that day
John’s source of joy came another way
Deep in the wilderness, J had a message to preach
And sayin’ he was radical ain’t a figure of speech
While preparin’ the way, he called all men to rejoice
John wasn’t just an echo, he was a voice
He came cryin’ out from the desert place,
"Prepare the way of the Lord" and seek His face
Throughout his ministry, God’s drum he came drummin’
People get ready, Jesus is comin’!

(CHORUS)

So as we draw near to the end of the age
Don’t think you can just sit back and disengage
He’s comin’ back soon, cause the end’s close at hand
So hey! Don’t go buildin’ yo house on the sand
Stay sober and alert; keep your wits about you
Even when you’re scorned, whipped, mocked, beaten, and lied to
It either black or white, there ain’t no gray
So keep your eyes wide open—better watch and pray
Yeshua said we’re to pray and not lose heart
Fightin’ distraction and fatigue, now that’s the hard part
Just keep on prayin’ in tongues, callin’ on that reservoir
It’s speakin’ mysteries, but it ain’t that bizarre
As burning and shinning lamps, we keep our bodies full of light
While the flesh is ragin’ gotta fight the good fight
While radically confrontin’ all that this world can scream
We forerunners might as well be swimmin’ upstream

(CHORUS 2x)
